Simple Homemade Peanut Butter

Nothing beats fresh, homemade peanut butter – made in simply 15 minutes, with the freshest ingredients. This peanut butter is smooth, rice and creamy, blended with coconut oil, a pinch of salt and sweetened with a hint of raw, organic honey. Make a jar or better yet, double the recipe as I can promise you it’ll be gone fast!

Directions

  1. Process peanuts in your high-powered blender or processor on medium strength for about 1 to 2 minutes until peanuts have broken down into small bits.
  2. Add ½ cup of water and coconut oil and process on high until you get a thick paste (another 2 minutes), if necessary add more water until paste becomes smoother.
  3. Add in salt and honey and process some more until peanuts are all processed well (another 2 minutes). Depending on your processor or blender, you may have to pause for a few minutes before processing again in case the engine gets over heated.
  4. Store peanut butter in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator.
