For the Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons melted organic virgin coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons Himalayan sea salt
  • 3 large cloves garlic, sliced
For the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 3/4 teaspoon grated ginger


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim bottom and any extra leaves off Brussels sprouts and slice in half, top to bottom. Place in a large bowl and toss with coconut oil and salt.
  3. Place each sprout cut-side-down in a single layer on prepared baking sheet. Roast in oven 15 minutes. Remove from oven, toss with sliced garlic, and roast 5 more minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, whisk together all the ingredients for the sauce. Toss brussels sprouts with sauce to serve.
